Tried something new recently… got in front of the camera for a product shoot for our brand 🎥 Not gonna lie, I was very nervous. I’ve always been more comfortable behind the scenes, so this was definitely out of my usual zone. And yeah… there were quite a few retakes. At one point I’m pretty sure even the camera crew knew my lines better than I did. But something interesting happened. With every retake, the nervousness started fading, and confidence slowly kicked in. By the end of it, I was actually enjoying the process. Honestly, I’m just proud that I pushed myself to do it. It’s easy to avoid things that make you uncomfortable, especially when you’re a bit introvert like me - but that’s exactly where the growth is. I’ve seen this with a lot of people as well. The first time is always awkward, you feel hyper-aware of everything… but once you get past that initial phase, it becomes way more natural. You don’t need to be perfect, you just need to show up. If you’ve been holding back from trying something new just because it feels uncomfortable - this is your sign to go for it.
