9 days left to register!! If you work with autistic clients and want to genuinely understand how to support them, this is essential knowledge. I am often asked how to modify therapy for autistic clients or how to work in ways that are genuinely neurodiversity-affirming. My answer is usually that it is not so much about the therapy modality. It is about understanding the neurotype itself and the common challenges autistic people face. Autistic burnout is one of the most important pieces of that puzzle. It is not just a phrase that has appeared online. There is a growing body of literature describing autistic burnout, proposed diagnostic features, and emerging screening tools. Yet many clinicians were never formally trained to recognise or understand it. In this webinar I will walk through how autistic burnout presents, how to identify it in both diagnosed and unidentified clients, how it differs from depression and occupational burnout, and what supportive, affirming treatment can look like in practice. The webinar runs Friday 20 March from 11:00am to 1:30pm AEDT, and a recording will be available for 60 days if you cannot attend live.
