Serving as CFO @ XXL ASA through one of the most challenging and transformational periods in its history has been incredibly rewarding. Over the past years, we have refinanced, restored growth, managed a complex stakeholder environment and supported the acquisition and delisting of the company by Frasers Group. Today, XXL is stronger than it has been in years. As part of Frasers, we have sharpened the customer offer, taken out costs and improved XXLs profitability at record pace. I’m proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to past and current colleagues across the organization — from stores to headquarters and the board of directors — for their professionalism, resilience and commitment to world class retailing. A special shout-out to the brilliant Finance, Support and IT teams. You are superstars 🤩 With XXL now well-positioned for the future, the time is right for me to take on my next challenge (cliff hanger!) and I look forward to the opportunities ahead.
