Pin:Pin is a hybrid, modular, and multifunctional object: it can be a game, a utilitarian and decorative piece, or a sculpture. It is composed of geometric pieces that connect to each other through magnets, 3D printed with vegetable filaments and hand-covered with leather — an endangered craft that is disappearing in Portugal. It functions as: - A standalone decorative object (each module is a unique, aesthetic, collectible piece). - A modular and playful system that brings people together in a disconnected world, transforming silence into dialogue through shapes and colours. Each piece has a different colour representing an emotion. By choosing the colour of what one wishes to express, it helps start conversations with a friend, parents, teachers, and others. - An evolving sculpture.
