I resigned from Zühlke Group after almost 8 years. It’s rare to spend this long in one place in our industry, and even rarer to grow as much as I did along the way. If there’s one thing Zühlke Hong Kong became known for, it was the culture—collaboration, learning, and genuine camaraderie. That culture didn’t arrive pre‑packaged. Jonas Trindler and Moritz Gomm 🌳🌍 didn’t fly in, unpack their luggage, and voilà—instant culture. No, we built it, stone by stone. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of that foundation with the very first HK project team: Thomas Eicher, Huw Davies , Sascha Eglau, Loilee Booz Tolentino, Kevin Lo, Hassen Malek, Herman Cheung. I’ll never forget the important roles played by Karen Chi, Chun Hei Brian Chung, and Carl, Chan Kin Wing in solidifying what we started—along with everyone who joined us later. Together, we created something worth celebrating. I’m also deeply grateful for the People Leads and mentors—whether officially or simply in spirit—who shaped my thinking and leadership: Moritz Gomm 🌳🌍, Marko Simic, Christoph Bröcker🔸, Luca Cacchiani, MBA, Joseph Cheung, Jochen Reber. One of the roles I’m most proud of is being a People Lead of extremely talented individuals. There are too many of you to list—across both Hong Kong and Vietnam—but watching you grow has been one of the most meaningful parts of my time at Zühlke. I’ll always be your fan and cheerleader. We may not share the same values or principles in every situation, but I hope I’ve encouraged you to honor your own in your professional decisions. To everyone I’ve worked with at Zühlke across the various locations in APAC and Europe: thank you. We’ve shared so much—Zühlke breakfasts (transitioning to Zulhke days we actually looked forward to), yearly camp, wine sessions at Okie Dokey, hackathons (won and lost), client bids (won and lost). Every moment has been a meaningful part of my journey. Here’s to the next chapter.
