𝐀𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐧𝐝… Years of consulting across different sectors and working alongside many highly competent HSE professionals clearly show that while HSE is increasingly positioned as a strategic topic globally, in practice it is still often approached primarily through compliance and regulatory obligations. This challenge is not unique to my own country; unfortunately, similar dynamics can be observed in many others as well. Structural dependencies of HSE professionals, along with varying levels of organizational and cultural maturity, continue to make it difficult for HSE to be fully embedded as a management system rather than a formal requirement. It should not be forgotten that employee health and safety are an inseparable part of business continuity and long-term sustainability. In this context, we remain committed, as the 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐚 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦, to continuously striving to do better. Wishing everyone a healthy, safe, and sustainable new year. Gamze.
