🎓 Celebrating IJN University College’s 10th Convocation This morning brought a very special kind of energy as we gathered to celebrate 407 graduates at IJN University College ’s 10th Convocation. Watching these young men and women from the Faculties of Allied Health Sciences, Managerial Health Sciences, and Nursing step proudly onto the stage was truly heartwarming. Moments like this remind us why we invest so much in education and training — because these are the future professionals who will shape the next chapter of healthcare. I managed to spend some time with the graduates, take photos together, and share a few simple reminders: stay curious, stay humble, and always serve with heart. A big congratulations to all parents and families. Today is your moment too. Your encouragement and sacrifices have carried your children to this milestone. And a special mention to Puan Aina Jamil, our GM of Corporate Communications — her son Nabil Razman is one of this year’s graduates. A proud day for her family and for all of us at IJN. Our Chairman, Dato’ Seri Dr. Chen Chaw Min, graciously presented all the scrolls this year, making it even more meaningful for the graduates. We also celebrated three outstanding individuals through our annual awards: 🏅 Chairman’s Award – Muhammad Muzammil bin Mustafar Presented by our Chairman, Dato’ Seri Dr. Chen Chaw Min, this award honours a student who not only excelled academically but also demonstrated leadership, integrity, and a deep sense of service. Muzammil’s contribution to student life, mental health advocacy, and community initiatives truly reflects the spirit of IJNUC. 🏅 Group Chief Executive Officer Award – Puteri Nur Marsya binti Adi I was honoured to personally present this award to Puteri Nur Marsya, who stood out for her professionalism, resilience, leadership potential, and passion for community mental health awareness. Her achievements, both in and beyond the classroom, exemplify the values we strive to instill in our young professionals. 🏅 Vice-Chancellor’s Award – Vemalan a/l Palanchiadiran Presented by Prof. Emerita Dr. Durrishah Idrus, our Vice-Chancellor and CE of IJNUC, this award recognises excellence in clinical practice, innovation, and leadership. Vemalan’s work as a perfusionist — including his contribution to Malaysia’s first paediatric LVAD implantation — speaks volumes about his dedication to patient care and continuous improvement. To the Class of 2025 — we are proud of you. May this milestone be the start of a meaningful journey in service to others. #IJN #ITrustIJN #Malaysia’sHeartSpecialistCentre #PatientsFirst #IJNUC
