Future-ready workplaces & resilient facilities | driving internal fleet & smart mobility solutions
3 weeks ago, we proudly joined the European Mobility Week, and what a week it was! Our goal was simple: encourage colleagues to rethink their daily commute and embrace greener, healthier alternatives. The results? Inspiring. What we set out to do: We launched a week-long campaign to promote sustainable mobility, reduce car usage, and spark conversations around commuting habits. From posters to breakfast events, we made sure the message was clear: every small change counts. What we achieved: 🚗 3 to 5 fewer cars per day in our car park, a visible shift in behaviour 🚴♂️ A 7% increase in bike commuting compared to our annual average, showing real momentum in choosing active transport 🥐 A bike breakfast and #Together moment brought colleagues together in a fun and meaningful way 🎁 Tombola for car-free commuters, with practical and playful prices like reflective gear, saddle covers, bike maps and a box of chocolates shaped like bicycles 📣 Internal communications and visual campaigns kept the momentum going all week What comes next: 🚴♂️ Exploring a bike leasing programme for 2026 💼 Reviewing our mobility budgets and car policy to better reflect today’s needs 🤝 Working with Brussels Environment on our corporate mobility plan 📋 Developing contingency plans for transport disruptions, ensuring business continuity and employee wellbeing The enthusiasm from our colleagues was incredible. From sharing ideas to actively participating, the week showed that mobility is not just a policy, it’s a culture. And at QBE Brussels, that culture is growing stronger every day. Thank you to everyone who took part. Let’s keep moving forward, #Together. 👏 #MobilityWeek #QBEBrussels #SustainableTransport #GreenChoices #MobilityBudget #TogetherWeMove
