Marketing Event Management EMEA at Progress
Grateful for this journey - excited for what’s next! I don’t even know where to start and writing this isn’t easy. In three weeks, my journey as a Daymaker at yoummday will come to an end. It feels like the right time to dedicate my first LinkedIn post not just to the company, but to the incredible people behind it. 🧡 The past years have been truly transformative: filled with challenges, growth, and unforgettable moments. Balancing evening studies with a full-time role wasn’t always easy, but the inspiring people around me motivated me to give my best every single day. What I’ll remember most are the countless initiatives and events we shared: summer parties, kick-offs, tech days, sports activities, Pizza Fridays, Christmas dinners, Oktoberfest visits, baking challenges, or just our everyday lunch breaks. For me, these were never “just events” they were opportunities to connect people, create meaningful experiences, and spark joy. Organizing and supporting them was one of the most rewarding parts of my role and how I discovered my passion for event management. A highlight I’ll never forget was receiving the Daymaker Moment Award at this year’s annual kick-off event. The recognition and appreciation I felt that day will stay with me forever. That’s also what made it so difficult to share with my colleagues that I’ve decided to move on. But their heartfelt words, support, and genuine happiness for my next step once again showed me how unique and strong the culture at yoummday really is. So what’s next? First, some travel. Then, a new chapter in the city that stole my heart - Amsterdam. Almost four years ago, after my apprenticeship, I lived there with my host family, learned the language, and fell in love with the charming city, its culture, and its way of life. Now, I’m excited to return at the start of next year with the goal of pursuing a career in event management. If you hear about opportunities in #Amsterdam, in #eventmanagement, community management, or related fields - I’d be grateful for your recommendations. 🙏 To wrap it up: these years have shaped me more than I can express. I’ve learned so much, grown even more, and will always carry this chapter in my heart. Thank you, yoummday. You didn’t just make my days - you made my last years. 🧡 Klaus Harisch, Pablo Harisch, Christian Konrad, Florian Neumeier, Frank Moser, Tygra Urban, Manuela J., Scarlett Ködding, Claas van Delden, Benjamin Tuezen, Yati Seidel, Maximilian Glaesser, Florian Schmidt, Lara Scheufele, Vera Janz, Esther Schneider, Thomas Irving, Paul Lischke, Susanne Witt, Martin-Xaver Schmid, LL.M., Andreas Baumann, Melina Frank, Tom Wiedenhofer, Julia Dutkiewicz, Kristin Schewski, Janis Grinhofs, Ante Ojvan, Rasmus Hinnenthal, Benedikt Villwock, Kathrin Hartmann, Matthias Lenk, Florian Saitner, Varsha Rana, Sylvie Ngouongo, Caspar Hasner, Lena Pütz, Cornelius Städele, Liliya Teslenko, Mayte Yuste
