Data & AI Leadership (Retail, Finance, Insurance & Healthcare)

After an incredible journey as Head of Data Strategy and Execution at Fressnapf, I’ll be stepping away from my role effective October 31st. Leading data transformation across such a dynamic organization has been both a privilege and a challenge I’ve truly embraced. From building scalable governance frameworks, defining and executing our data product roadmaps, to driving self-service analytics innovation, I’m proud of the impact we’ve made — and deeply grateful to the talented individuals, teams, partners, and leaders who made it possible. To my colleagues at Fressnapf Holding SE: thank you for the trust, collaboration, and shared ambition. I’ll carry the lessons and relationships forward with deep appreciation. In particular I would like to thank Pascal Janus, Christian Kümmel, Peter Ackermann, Matthias Langemann, Andreas Klein, Stephan Jennewein, Sabato Leo, Caroline Froch, Jerome McGraw, Alexandra Niesen-Finger, Christoph Labrenz, Viktoria Blumenthal-Bordeaux, Michelle Zmuda, Dario S., Anuja Velankar, Martin Schultz, Marcel Malek, Nadine Markgraf, Nicola Josef (geb. Knöbl), Zsolt Sándor and Naoufel El Aloumi. The north star discussions, the debates, the support, the rolling up of the sleeves and the willingness to get things done was inspiring. It made it all worth it. Data is the currency of the world we live in today. It's at the foundation of every decision we make. It frames the context from which we take advantage of opportunities and allows us to service our internal and external customers with a higher degree of trust and proficiency. This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter, with more information to come. I will however, continue to stand at the corner of where data, strategy, and execution intersect to create valuable data products and bring about meaningful change. If you're working on bold data initiatives or navigating complex transformations you know where to find me — let’s stay connected. #DataLeadership #DataFirst #ActData #CareerTransition #ThankYou #DigitalTransformation #NextChapter #ThinkData
