🚨 New publication | How to bolster food security through global early-warning systems 📣 Since joining Chatham House, I have likely spoken about early warning systems more than any other topic. Our latest research paper, conducted alongside Practical Action, is now available to read, engage with, and act towards how we warn at-risk communities about the cascading risks to their food security. Many incredible researchers and practitioners who have crossed paths with us during this process have contributed to this outcome. This research was supported generously by the Citi Foundation. Read the paper here: https://lnkd.in/gBseHhSg A special shout-out to the team behind the scenes: Richard King, Mirianna Budimir, Anum Farhan, Alioune NDIAYE, PhD, Alpha SALL, Adama DIA, Anna Ly, Tamanna Rahman, M Tariqul Hasan R., and Farhana P. for their efforts to substantiate this research firmly with on-the-ground realities from Bangladesh and Senegal. A dedicated Bangladesh policy brief is upcoming, and till then, please read Practical Action Senegal's policy brief: https://lnkd.in/g5wvcbsm Potentially of interest to: Owen Grafham, Laura Wellesley-Squires, Ruth Townend, Kyriacos Koupparis, PhD, Nicholas Bodanac, Bapon Shm, Dorothy Heinrich, Daniel Pfister, Ritu Bharadwaj, Joe Glauber, Tesse de Boer, Debora Gonzalez, Beth S., Larissa de Winter, Marleen de Ruiter, Rajib Shaw, Unni Krishnan, as well as others.
