Three years ago, in June 2022, I led one of my vision workshops, we (Bryan Rea, Mathilde Hurand, and Svenja Ottovordemgentschenfelde...colloquially known by our team as BEMS) got into a room and together set a bold vision for YouTube Studio: To transform it from a collection of tools into a creative partner for creators big and small. This was long before the buzz of Gen AI. What we envisioned was deeper, an experience that understood creators, sparked ideas, and most importantly - honoured the creative process. We wanted to help every creator find their voice, refine their voice, and sustain their voice. Today, that vision comes to life. At Made on YouTube, we launched four major products –each one built by my team – that reflect years of care, craft...clarity and conviction: → Video Collabs – effortless co-creation, launched last month with MrBeast and Mark Rober as part of #TeamWater, the biggest creator collaboration in YouTube history, raising over $40M for clean water. PM magicians: Lillan Marie Agerup Robin Zueger → Ask Studio – your AI-powered partner, so that any creator can meet studio right where they are, it deeply understands you, your needs, and complements you, making sense of your analytics, your community, and your creative needs. PM magicians: Jessica Williams Paolo Gabriele Falcone Patricia Magro Philipp Terres Adva Levin → Title A/B – the sequel to Thumbnail A/B, two of the most requested features by creators, where science meets storytelling. PM magicians: Varun Gujjanudu Robin Zueger → Inspiration 4.0 – because no one should have to start from scratch, and every spark should have legs. It is about so much more than the headlines.
