As the summer comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank Congresswoman Kathy Castor for the incredible opportunity to intern in her office. This internship has been such a rewarding experience; I’ve learned so much, met truly amazing people, and had an unforgettable time. I had the opportunity to attend a wide range of briefings, events, and meetings that helped me understand how to make meaningful impact at the federal level while also staying connected to the needs of our neighbors. I’m especially grateful to the Congresswoman and Team Castor for their mentorship, kindness, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the work they do for Florida’s 14th District. Looking back through all the photos I also realized just how often I wore my favorite shirt, so if you see it in every picture… yes I own other clothes I promise! Looking ahead, I’m excited to carry everything I’ve learned with me into the future as I continue my path in public service. Thank you again for such a memorable opportunity!
