Pleased to share that the In-Touch Horizon Europe education and training support and orientation guides are now complete, as part of the EU-funded In-Touch Horizon Europe project (Work Package 2). Co-designed with teams from seven partner countries—the Netherlands, Italy, Czech Republic, Poland, Portugal, Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the UK—these guides span over 100 pages and include training outlines, slide decks, practical tools, and facilitator guidance to support a Train-the-Trainer model. Developed to strengthen the delivery of person-centred dementia palliative care for people with advanced dementia in nursing homes, these resources are part of a wider cluster-randomised trial across Europe. Grateful to have written this work with Dr Irene Hartigan and Dr Rene Gonzales. Sincere thanks to all the collaborators who contributed to this journey, with special appreciation to the incredible Collaborative Advisory for Research and Education in Enhanced Dementia Care (CARE-ED) and the Care Partner Advisory Group (CPAG) for their invaluable insights and support.
