Last Tuesday, I had the privilege of attending the Nottinghamshire Law Society Annual General Meeting, where I was honoured to receive the Kevin De Silva Award for 2024. Collecting this award was a proud and memorable moment, recognising my article on what the legal profession can learn from the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry. It was especially meaningful to be acknowledged by a society that has supported the local legal community since 1875. Thank you to the Nottinghamshire Law Society, the judging panel, and everyone at Gateley Legal for the continued support throughout my placement year.
