**IMPORTANT NEWS** China cross-border data transfer guidelines - with (slightly updated) exemptions - have just been finalised. Headline news: * slightly varied thresholds for the exemptions (non-sensitive data from 10,000 to 100,000; sensitive data 10,000); and * new guides for both CAC approval and SCCs filing routes.
