I was not planning to write about this, but I cannot let Trump’s toxic remarks go unaddressed, particularly during these last days of Black History Month. As always, I encourage readers to do their own research on Ma’at and African history. You might want to start with Chancellor Williams’ The Destruction of Black Civilization and Walter Rodney’s How Europe Underdeveloped Africa. When you remove the blinders, you will learn that Black people come from great civilizations and had religions that were and are just as legitimate as any of the major world religions today. And I would go further and say, are more relevant than the major religions most Blacks worship today.
