Recently, we filed a Writ Petition before the Hon'ble Bombay High Court, Nagpur Bench for a NEET (UG) Candidate who appeared in NEET(UG), 2022. The candidate belonged to 'Person With Disability' Category (PwD). However, due to an inadvertent and innocuous mistake she did not select the PwD Category while filling her NEET (UG) 2022 application. Due to her innocent mistake, the seat allotted to her at Government Medical College, Nagpur under the 'PwD' Category in CAP 1 Round conducted by State CET Cell could not be confirmed as the main NEET application form reflected that she has not opted for the 'PwD'. Due to extreme urgency in the matter, we requested for a circulation for Sunday (06/11/2022). The Hon'ble High Court was pleased to grant the circulation for the same. Post hearing, the Hon'ble Court granted interim relief by keeping one seat vacant allotted to the petitioner at GMC, Nagpur till the pendency of the petition and directed the respondent authorities to decide the representations of the petitioner. #speedyredressal #neet2022
