Engineering Manager at Hopper

I can't believe it's been a full month in my new role at Hopper. The time has flown by, probably due to how much fun it is. One of the things that I've appreciated most during my onboarding has been learning about the uniquely empowering culture that is deeply rooted in their ethos. Hopper structures teams in a single-threaded ownership model, which means all of the decision-makers are in each team, not spread throughout the organization. It enables Hopper teams to take true ownership of their products and processes and operate at an incredible velocity. My team at hopper is part of the Fintech group, which makes up over 70% of Hopper's revenue. My team specifically focuses on products that help reduce stress for folks who have a disruption in their travel (think flight delays, missed connections, lost luggage, etc). This team is full of incredibly smart individuals, whom I'm so happy to get to learn from and work alongside. If you're interested in joining us, please let me know!
