Friday light relief: Positive thinking. If we have to have #culturewars (or any other kind of wars) instead of a proper #presidentialelection, let’s at least remember to bring some actual culture with us. Sharing this little video as a breath of fresh air: It’s a different vision of #lockdown entirely, four minutes of pure joy. Set in a nuclear fallout shelter, yet maybe the most beautifully realised music video ever made - the 80s riffing on the 60s, with a little help from Brubeck, Soviet #propaganda, Bracque and Miro. Delight. Kick back, stop worrying about #pandemic for a few minutes and join these kids from a time when living in the moment was the best way not to worry about imminent World War III. Music’s quite catchy too (anyone now remember Steely Dan? - just me, then). [For any #animation fans: think about this: every frame of the ‘art’ sequences is hand-drawn. Apart from the music’s opening 10sec shot (pinched from an architect), no CGI in 1983. A little miracle. RIP, original MTV.] #unintendedconsequences #riskculture #culturechange #lockdownlife #riskperception #situationalawareness #targethardening https://lnkd.in/eqVKq7v Hazel Macmillan Paul Dornan Andy Gardiner Louise Tucker Rachel Wolcott Jan Hagen Pat Ellen
