📢 Business Development

One of the many (secondary, of course to the people who sadly passed away) victims of Italian lockdown is the monument symbol of Piedmont Region (Italy) and a place that inspired the writer Umberto Eco to conceive the best-seller “Il nome della rosa” (The name of the rose), the Sacra of San Michele is an ancient abbey built between 983 and 987 on the top of mount Pirchiriano, 40 km from Turin. The Rosminian Fathers, custodian for the last couple of centuries are struggling to keep it open to the public, as during lockdown the revenue from tourism and donations went down to zero. Among the social consequences we are just beginning to see, there is a vast ecosystem of cultural attractions and small business whose survival is really in doubt. https://lnkd.in/dAay36C #culture #architecturelovers #historicpreservation #regionepiemonte #torino #italianculture #lockdowneffect #lockdownlearnings #economiccrisis #piemonte #governo #montagnapertutti
