Interesting findings in our recent BEYOND CENTRE OF EXCELLENCE publication! We show new surface displacement results that indicate a continuously deforming environment for two decades in the greater metropolitan city of Thessaloniki. Critical regions are found: Thermi, the town of Perea and Thessaloniki’s international airport, a major hub of the Balkans are mostly affected due to mainly aquifer overpumping. https://lnkd.in/eb_RtWw
