"I got trapped under the rubble. When they finally got me out, I came here." Tatyana was one of the last people evacuated from eastern Ukraine after years of destruction. She arrived at a shelter following a four-day journey with almost nothing left. A librarian for 40 years, she now brings people together through cultural events, helping displaced families build connections and a sense of community. "I dream of walking again and of peace."
