There are three identity problems your organization is probably dealing with right now. You know about the first one. You are vaguely aware of the second. The third one might be keeping you up at night. 1. Human identities are manageable. Governed, provisioned, deprovisioned. Mostly. 2. Machine identities are a different story. Service accounts, API keys, OAuth tokens, and non-human identities are multiplying faster than you can track them. Nobody documented half of them when they were created and nobody owns them now. 3. And the third problem? Not knowing what you do not know. The identities sitting in corners of your environment that have never been inventoried, audited, or questioned. Identity Management Day is a good time to ask one honest question: do you actually know where all of your identities are? Not just the ones in your IdP dashboard. All of them.
