La Dolce Vita Orient Express inaugurates the Rome to Istanbul route. A grand international debut on 22 October 2026, where Italian art de vivre meets the timeless mystery of the East. In 1883, the original Orient Express completed one of the most legendary voyages in travel history, reaching Constantinople for the first time and forever redefining luxury travel. 140 years later, La Dolce Vita Orient Express launches its first international Voyage inspired by the myth: a five-day passage from Rome to Istanbul through some of Europe’s most captivating landscapes. From Venice and Budapest to the Carpathian Mountains, the journey culminates in Istanbul, where continents, cultures and centuries converge. More than an itinerary, this new route is inspired by the legendary Orient Express experience, crafted through the lens of contemporary Italian art de vivre. From interiors curated by Dimorestudio, inspired by the eclectic elegance of 1960s Italy, to a refined culinary experience conceived by three-Michelin-starred Chef Heinz Beck, every detail celebrates craftsmanship, culture and contemporary luxury.
