Thank you to everyone who joined us this morning for our Hotel Market & Economic Outlook Update at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney. It was great to see so many AA Members and Partners in the room for what was a timely and insightful discussion. The session brought together a strong line-up of industry experts, with Besa Deda (Chief Economist, William Buck), Paul Hammond (Sales - Pacific, STR), Chris Boyd (Senior Associate, JLL Hotels & Hospitality Group) and Antony Frino (Market Team Manager, Booking.com) sharing insights on the economy, hotel market performance, investment activity and evolving traveller trends. Speakers noted that while businesses continue to face economic uncertainty, cost pressures and global volatility, current indicators suggest travel demand remains relatively resilient, investor interest in Australian hotel assets continues, and Sydney and NSW remain attractive destinations for visitors.
