We are still smiling after an incredible Inclusive Sport Festival at Alexander Stadium last week. Brought to life by StreetGames UK and Access Sport, the day showed what’s possible when people come together with a shared purpose. From first-time taster sessions to meeting inspiring figures Alex Haydock-Wilson OLY, Ali Fewins and Christian Malcolm OLY, the energy all day was something special. The event signalled the start of something bigger, with the legacy of the Birmingham 2026 European Athletics Championships starting to take shape: 🏃‍♀️ More young people getting active 🤝 Stronger, more connected communities 💥 Life-changing opportunities opening up through sport Funded by UK Sport and the London Marathon Foundation, the festival was part of Beyond - the social impact plan linked to Birmingham 2026. Beyond is all about making sure the power of sport creates lasting change in communities before, during and long after the championships.
