It’s often the smallest things that say the most. I walked with a new colleague to have her employee ID photo taken, and saw this lovely, hand-drawn and colorful “Welcome to Verisk” message on the dry erase board. It immediately set the tone. Not just “you’re here,” but someone took the time to make this feel human, and in the process, share a bit about themselves. It opened the door to a great conversation, and hopefully, a good first impression. Whether for a client or a new colleague, these small acts can signal culture, care--which is one of Verisk’s values, and creativity in a way no PowerPoint ever could. #culture #LifeAtVerisk #employeeexperience #workplace
