Today we held a joint celebration for World Environment Day and World Food Safety Day, bringing together two important pillars in our ESG program: protecting the environment and keeping our food safe. The event showcased the ESG technologies, initiatives and best practices we deploy across our business, with expert demonstrations from our partners at Diversey, Wimpey Laboratories, our food safety testing partner, and ORGAAYUR | UAE, who showcased their hydroponic systems. We also want to say a big thank you to our guests Abdulla Ahmed Al Moosawi, Head of Inspection from Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority ADAFSA and Eng. Bassem Azam, Managing Director at TSI (Taylor Shannon Institute), for taking the time to join us and sharing their food safety expertise.
