🌬️ ABO Energy Spain has joined more than 45 organisations in signing the Spanish Wind Energy Association’s (Asociación Empresarial Eólica (AEE)) Joint Declaration with municipalities, strengthening collaboration for sustainable local development. Representing around 80% of Spain’s installed wind capacity and more than 45,000 residents living alongside wind energy facilities, the initiative is built on key principles such as: ➡️ shared benefits, ➡️ continuous dialogue, ➡️ and environmental best practices This highlights that the energy transition must be developed with communities, not on them. 🏘️ More importantly, this Declaration is not an end in itself, but the beginning of a permanent space for dialogue and collaboration between companies, municipalities and local communities, helping ensure that the energy transition creates lasting value for the territories where renewable projects are developed.
