I have just attended the Young Professionals Conference today, and I’m feeling genuinely inspired and motivated. As someone currently exploring summer internship opportunities for 2026, this event couldn’t have come at a better time. The panel talks were not only insightful, but also incredibly reassuring. I walked in feeling unsure about what routes were available, and walked out with a much clearer understanding of how to get started from both the graduate apprentices and the senior leader panel. One particular moment that stood out for me was when Akin Ogboye told us to think about our personal vision and what three things we would want people to think of us when we retire and aim to be that person. Truly inspiring and words that will stick with me for many years to come. It was amazing to see representatives from Investment Banking, Finance, Law, and Tech firms all in one space — including big names like Goldman Sachs, Amazon , Lloyds Banking Group, and Legal & General. They offered really practical advice, shared their personal journeys, and were open to answering questions. It was a fantastic opportunity to network, build connections, and improve my research into potential summer internships for 2026. A massive thank you to Dan M. for organising such a meaningful and well-run event. It created a space where young people like me could genuinely learn, connect, and feel more confident about the future. #ypconference2025 #youngprofessionals
