Yesterday’s digital skills session looked a little different… 🚂 In partnership with BT Group, we held a truly unforgettable “Training on Track” experience aboard a beautifully restored 1950s Pullman carriage on the Epping Ongar heritage railway. Alongside our brilliant trainers, volunteers and actress Melanie Walters, we supported older people to build confidence and stay safer online - all while enjoying a nostalgic day out. The feedback says it all: “Clear, relevant and practical advice delivered in such an engaging way.” “Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable - and the train journey was a lovely bonus!” Through our partnership with BT Group, we’ve now helped 14,000 people build digital confidence - and yesterday’s event shows just how creative and memorable this work can be.
