Our research in unmanned robotic systems, especially in drone technologies, is well recognized (inter)nationally. In parallel, our work in #smartindustrialsystems continues to grow steadily in both quality, quantity and impact, supported by strong collaboration with our regional partners. With our region being a hub for high tech manufacturing industries, we play an essential role in accelerating innovation and advancing human capital. Our research in smart industrial systems includes projects in vision-based quality control, object manipulation, and machine/deep learnings. In close collaboration with various educational departments, we also contribute to the design, development, and delivery of #education in this domain. Our joint #industrialautomation minor is one of the most popular programs among students from #mechanicalengineering, #electricalengineering, #appliedcomputerscience, #industrialdesign, and #mechatronics. We also offer state-of-the-art facilities that are actively used for #education, #research, and #innovation in collaboration with industry partners. If you are interested in learning more about our research, starting a collaborative project, accessing training in #ROS-Industrial, #vision systems, or real-time systems, or making use of our facilities, please contact Dennis Borger or Joris Spikker. #smartindustry #professionaleducation #industrialautomation #appliedresearch #innovation Smart Mechatronics And RoboTics (SMART) Research Group at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, TValley, TechForFuture, TechOost Bas de Bruijn, Ramon Koiter, Cees van Keulen, @herman suurink, Lando Lemmers, Jos Laak, ter, Henk van den Hoorn, Marcello Millonzi, Adrie Dassen, Stephan Maathuis, Dirk Bekke, Alexander Jansen
