"Puntland President dismisses State Media leadership."| The President of Puntland State, Said Abdullahi Deni, has dismissed the Director of State Media, Ali Abdi Ali Farah, and his deputy, Dahir Abdulqadir Ahmed (Afloow). A decree issued by the Presidency has temporarily assigned the management of Puntland State TV and Radio to Bile Mohamud Ahmed (Qabawsade), the Deputy Minister of Information, Telecommunications, Heritage, and Culture of Puntland State. The President of Puntland State Having reviewed: Article 80 of the Puntland State Constitution. Having considered: The need to accelerate, reform, and improve the management of Puntland State TV and Radio. Having consulted: The Vice President of Puntland State. Decrees: – 1. Ali Abdi Ali Farah is removed from the position of Director General of Puntland State TV and Radio. 2. Dahir Abdulqadir Ahmed (Afloow) is removed from the position of Deputy Director of Puntland State TV and Radio. 3. The administration of Puntland State TV and Radio has been temporarily entrusted to Bile Mohamud Ahmed (Qabawsade), the Deputy Minister of Information, Telecommunications, Heritage, and Culture of Puntland State. 4. This decree enters into force upon the President's signature, and he has signed it.
