Under the roar of jets and a city of a million onlookers, we put our fintech to the hardest test: daylight! We brought 3 FinTech projects to TEKNOFEST Istanbul 2025 and left the runway with 5th place in the Financial Technologies category and the ''Ticarileştirme Potansiyeli Ödülü'' (Commercialization Potential Award). 🏅📈 The stage could not have been larger. From September 17–21 at Istanbul Atatürk Airport, TEKNOFEST welcomed 1,032,000 visitors in Istanbul. And the pathway was steep: this year’s competitions drew over 1.1 million competitors+ applicants forming 565,000+ teams across Türkiye and beyond; in our track, 28 finalist teams earned the right to present on the Istanbul stage. Finishing 5th of 28 and being cited for commercialization potential is a result our team is proud to stand behind. 🇦🇿🚀 With Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in attendance and guidance from Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar (whom I had the privilege to meet), we leave Istanbul aligned on one mandate: turn our fintech into working pilots, prove value in the field, and scale what works Azerbaijan and beyond. My special thanks to State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR),Baku Higher Oil School and Mr.Rector Elmar Gasimov for backing students, keeping standards high,and leadership.
