Last week, we had a delegation attending the General Assembly of Affordable Medicines Europe in Vilnius to discuss the future of our industry. The gathering brought together companies across Europe to discuss the key developments shaping the pharmaceutical landscape. Discussions focused on market opportunities and shared industry risks such as the impact of the upcoming implementation of new EU pharmaceutical legislation. - Better access to medicine depends on collaboration across Europe. The discussions in Vilnius showed how important it is that our industry continues to work closely with policymakers and partners to reduce barriers, strengthen supply chains and help secure affordable medicines for patients, says our CEO Flemming Wagner. Guest speakers included Lithuania’s Vice-Minister for Health, Daniel Naumovas, who shared the ambition for Lithuania to become an attractive hub in EU for health innovation and secure patients access to affordable medicines, calling for diversification in the supply chain and breaking down barriers. Abacus Medicine Group was also strongly represented by the colleagues on the picture. From our executive, business, purchasing, legal, and public affairs teams, we continue to reflect commitment to collaboration and affordable access to medicines across Europe. #MovingHealthcareMovingYou #health #medicines
