On May 17, 2025, I graduated from Gettysburg College as the Valedictorian of the Class of 2025, majoring in Mathematical Economics and minoring in Data Science. This achievement marks a historic milestone as I became the first international student ever to receive this honor at Gettysburg. It was an incredible honor to carry and post our class flag during the ceremony, a moment I'll always treasure. Reflecting on these incredible four years, I’m filled with gratitude and pride. From serving as a Community Advisor for three years, Vice President of the International Club, a Research Assistant, Peer Learning Associate, and studying abroad in Budapest—all while balancing my role as a Student Assistant—I’ve grown tremendously both personally and professionally. Gettysburg College has truly shaped who I am today. My decision to join this community stemmed from feeling genuinely valued during my very first interaction, a feeling that remained constant throughout my college journey. I am immensely thankful to my professors, especially in the Economics Department, my mentors, supervisors, friends, and the entire Gettysburg community. Your guidance, encouragement, and belief in my potential have been pivotal. This moment is a reflection of dedication, perseverance, and the invaluable support I’ve received along the way. Here’s to new beginnings and cherishing the memories made at Gettysburg!
