Anything called a 'Sports Education Forum' was bound to resonate with me, as it brings together three dimensions I care deeply about: 🏅 #Sport is a space of passion, performance and shared human experience. 📚 #Education is the continuous exchange of knowledge and perspectives that sharpens mutual understanding. 💬 #Dialogue is what defines a forum - the discipline of listening, engaging, and connecting viewpoints. Speaking at the second Sports Education Forum in #Tbilisi a few days ago was a great opportunity to bring these dimensions together. Many thanks to Johan Cruyff Institute and JBS Academy for the invitation. My intervention focused on three core points: • sport carries significant #influence and power; • it operates in an environment under growing #pressure; • with influence - and in the face of pressure - comes #responsibility. That responsibility, in my view, must be more deliberately embraced by leading actors across the sport #ecosystem - aligned with addressing today’s most pressing global challenges and advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs). 🌍 It was a pleasure to reconnect with colleagues and meet new peers in this space of exchange.
