The World Farmers' Organisation (WFO) is holding their annual meeting in Kenya hosted by the Kenya National Farmers' Federation (KENAFF). The organisation represents and gives voice to the diverse community of farmers globally. Today, joined by CropLife Africa Middle East, PEST CONTROL PRODUCTS BOARD, Cereal Growers Association and Farmer and youth representation we engaged in a panel discussion highlighting the impact of the Sustainable Pesticide Management Framework, a global initiative first spearheaded in Africa through Kenya. The program has been pivotal in strengthening environmental stewardship, advancing socio-economic development and reducing inequalities in the agriculture sector through stakeholder engagement and innovative solutions. The conversation highlighted the need for stronger public-private partnerships, farmer-centred policies, and increased investment in innovation to build resilient food systems capable of feeding Africa’s ever growing population while improving the livelihoods of its farmers. #betterfarming #betterfood #betterhealth
