We’re excited to partner with the Ulysses team for their Series A. America needs a new kind of underwater deterrence. Fiber optic cables, vast offshore resources, and maritime chokepoints are all increasingly contested. Security in this environment cannot rest on undersea assets too precious to deploy. Founders Akhil V., Will O'Brien, Colm O'Brien, and Jamie Wedderburn came to the US and created something we had been struggling to produce: a small, autonomous underwater vehicle that aims to outperform the primes at a fraction of the cost. With a vertically integrated manufacturing facility and fresh capital, they're ready to scale to protect the world’s oceans.
