Nex-AGI has released Nex-N2, a new open-source agent model designed for complex, long-horizon tasks in real-world productivity scenarios. At its core is Agentic Thinking, an approach that unifies reasoning, tool use, and environment execution in a closed loop. It relies on two principles: Adaptive Thinking, which dynamically adjusts the depth of reasoning to the specific task, and Coherent Thinking, which ensures consistent logic across various tasks and modalities. Nex-N2 comes in two variants: Nex-N2-Pro (based on the Qwen3.5-397B-A17B architecture) and Nex-N2-mini (based on Qwen3.5-35B-A3B-Base). In recent benchmarks for agent workflows, coding, and software engineering, the Pro version delivers performance on par with leading proprietary models. Both models are open-source and available on Hugging Face and ModelScope. For deployment, the team provides a customized SGLang fork along with corresponding Docker images.
