60 Minutes spoke with seven drivers who say managers at Super Ego routinely skimmed hundreds to thousands of dollars off drivers' pay in excessive fees for their lease, insurance, and repairs. A class action lawsuit calls it “a scheme to defraud drivers.” Truck driver Daniel Sanchez, who was leasing to own his truck, says he was driving 600 to 800 miles per day, but due to excessive fees, his paycheck showed he owed money. Super Ego Holdings denies any wrongdoing. Lawyers for Super Ego Holding said it's a leasing company, not a trucking firm, and that it is not responsible for the actions of affiliated carriers and drivers. https://lnkd.in/g8h4_xbi
