With the CETA Mutual Recognition Agreement now creating a formal path for Canadian architects to practice in the EU, this exchange is becoming increasingly two-way. This panel brings together Danish and Canadian architects to discuss what this relationship has produced, where challenges have emerged, and what future collaboration could look like as Canadian practices begin entering the Nordic market. The conversation will also explore shared opportunities in 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻, 𝗹𝗼𝘄-𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, asking what meaningful architectural exchange across borders could look like in the years ahead. At 3XN/GXN, we are proud to be part of the ongoing architectural exchange between Denmark and Canada — a dialogue shaped by shared ambitions around design quality, innovation, and more sustainable ways of building. We look forward to contributing to the conversation on how this connection can continue to evolve in the years ahead.
