I keep a running list of retail platforms that are actually changing how people shop, not just adding another app to the pile. These four made the cut. 🛍️🖤 Daydream, founded by Julie Bornstein — former COO of Stitch Fix and founder of The Yes, which Pinterest acquired — launched as the first AI fashion shopping agent built entirely around natural conversation. You describe what you're looking for the way you would to a friend, and Daydream searches nearly 2 million products from over 8,000 brands, including Net-A-Porter, Jimmy Choo, and Alo Yoga. The company raised $50 million in seed funding, backed by Forerunner Ventures, Index Ventures, Google Ventures, and model Karlie Kloss. ShopMy turned creator recommendations into a measurable affiliate business — storefronts, brand analytics, and commission tracking across thousands of retailers in one platform. Whatnot fused live auctions with social video and entertainment-first discovery, processing $8 billion in live GMV in 2025 alone. Revolve and FWRD remain the definitive lifestyle destination for Gen Z and Millennial shoppers, blending premium curation with social-first discovery for style inspiration online. I founded 360Fashion Network in the US in 2008 and China in 2009, and I have spent two decades watching which platforms actually move retail forward. The ones that win never try to be everything. They own one specific moment in how people actually shop. Follow, like, share, and subscribe to the 360Fashion Network YouTube channel. Which platform do you use most?
