Most antibody fragments fail not because they can’t bind, but because they become unstable and can't stay together. scFv antibody fragments are powerful therapeutic and diagnostic tools, but instability can limit shelf life, manufacturability, and development potential. Our Client, STABLEBODY TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, is engineering stability at the sequence level through our computational platform, AffiBioXP. AffiBioXP uses co-evolutionary patterns from natural antibody families to identify sequence changes that may improve thermal stability while preserving binding.
