Today, we're bringing the 1Password MCP Server to Kiro, making 1Password the trusted access layer for AI-powered development. AI agents can write code, fix bugs, and ship software. But they still need access to credentials. With this integration, developers can securely configure environments, clean up hard-coded secrets, and give AI workflows scoped access to the credentials they need without exposing secrets to the model context. Instead of storing credentials in plaintext, access is issued at runtime, scoped to the assigned task, and managed through 1Password.
