Advancements in diagnostics become more meaningful when they are discussed, questioned, and explored with the experts. Tata 1mg Labs recently conducted the #Bengaluru edition of its Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Beyond Aneuploidy: Expanding Clinical Utility of Maternal Markers”, in association with BSOG (Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India - FOGSI) and Roche. The session brought together leading clinicians, diagnostics experts, and members of the medical community for an insightful exchange on the evolving role of maternal markers in early pregnancy screening. Dr. Ashwin Kumar A.S, Consultant Clinical Biochemist, #Tata1mg Labs, shared his perspective on “Screening for Fetal Chromosomal Aneuploidies, FMF Recommendation”, highlighting how evidence-led screening practices can support timely and informed clinical decisions. The event also featured an engaging panel discussion on “First Trimester Screening, Prediction, Interpretation and Action”, where leading gynecologists from Bengaluru shared practical clinical perspectives on prediction, interpretation, and next steps in care. We’re grateful to BSOG, Roche, our speakers, and the medical community in Bengaluru for being part of this meaningful exchange. Conversations like these help strengthen collaboration, deepen understanding, and support better-informed healthcare decisions. Dr Mahesh Koregol.
