Partner Spotlight | Three o'clock What does it take to make research truly useful for the people who need it most? In this interview, Esti Sanvicente of Three o'clock shares how the team worked with policymakers, students, the private sector, and communities across Kenya, Tanzania, Mali, and South Africa to better understand the real challenges of implementing the Water, Energy, and Food (WEF) Nexus. Their findings were clear. Stakeholders need practical knowledge, real-world case studies, useful tools, and stronger connections with peers and experts. They also highlighted barriers including limited technical capacity, fragmented planning processes, and unequal access to digital infrastructure. These insights directly shaped the development of the ONEPlanET Knowledge Hub, a user-centred digital platform co-designed with project partners to support learning, collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making. The platform brings together e-learning modules, a database of innovative WEF Nexus solutions, project tools, and a directory of experts and organisations across Africa and Europe. Watch the full interview to learn how user research and co-creation helped build a resource designed around the real needs of those driving sustainable development. 🎥 Watch the interview. #ONEPLANET #WEFNexus #KnowledgeHub #CapacityBuilding #CoCreation #SocialInnovation #Sustainability #AfricaEuropeCollaboration #HorizonEurope AfriLabs, RINA, The Cyprus Institute, Universidad de Valladolid, Three o'clock, CARTIF, SEI – Stockholm Environment Institute, ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), University of KwaZulu-Natal, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Università degli Studi di Genova, and Strathmore University
