Partner Spotlight | RINA What does it take to coordinate a project spanning two continents, multiple disciplines, and a shared vision for sustainable development? In this interview, Brenda Insonne and Carla Clúa Alcón of RINA Consulting reflect on their experience coordinating the ONEPlanET project and the partnerships that made it possible. Beyond managing the consortium, they highlight how ONEPlanET helped demonstrate the value of the Water, Energy, and Food (WEF) Nexus as a practical approach for policymakers, researchers, students, and other stakeholders seeking to make more informed decisions. The conversation also explores one of the project's greatest strengths: collaboration. Despite the geographical distance and diversity of partners, the consortium created spaces for meaningful dialogue, successful events, and lasting relationships that will continue to inspire future initiatives. Looking beyond the project's conclusion, RINA Consulting shares why the ONEPlanET legacy extends far beyond research. Through practical tools, accessible knowledge resources, and Africa's first ENoLL (European Network of Living Labs) recognised Living Lab, the project has laid the foundation for continued innovation and collaboration in sustainable resource management. 🎥 Watch the full interview to hear how coordination, partnership, and a shared commitment to innovation helped shape the ONEPlanET journey. #ONEPLANET #RINAConsulting #WEFNexus #ProjectCoordination #Innovation #LivingLabs #ResearchImpact #Sustainability #AfricaEuropeCollaboration #HorizonEurope AfriLabs, RINA, The Cyprus Institute, Universidad de Valladolid, Three o'clock, CARTIF, SEI – Stockholm Environment Institute, ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), University of KwaZulu-Natal, IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, Università degli Studi di Genova, and Strathmore University
