سعدت بالمشاركة في تصميم الهوية البصرية لأمسية "مذاق المدن: جدة والطائف من التراث إلى الابتكار". جاءت هذه الأمسية كمبادرة من وحدة المعامل والمراكز البحثية بهدف التعريف بمعامل القسم، والتوسع في بناء الشراكات النوعية، وتعزيز الأثر المجتمعي، بالإضافة إلى دعم ملف ترشيح مدينتي جدة والطائف كمدن طهي عالمية. كما حظيت الأمسية باستضافة لجنة IGCAT الدولية المعنية بتقييم واعتماد مدن الطهي عالميًا، والتي تنظر إلى الطعام بوصفه هوية وثقافة وتعليمًا واستدامة، إلى جانب كونه تجربة ثقافية متكاملة. وقد أقيمت الأمسية بدعم وتشريف هيئة فنون الطهي، الجهة الوطنية المعنية بتطوير الطهي السعودي وحفظ موروثه وربطه بالثقافة والسياحة. تشرفت بالعمل على تصميم الهوية البصرية للأمسية بالتعاون مع زميلتي البتول الكاف Albatool Alkaff البتول الكاف، حيث عملنا على بناء نظام بصري متكامل يشمل الألوان والخطوط والأنماط والتطبيقات المختلفة، بهدف تجسيد روح مدينتي جدة والطائف وإبراز العلاقة بين التراث والابتكار من خلال تجربة بصرية متكاملة. كما أتقدم بخالص الشكر والتقدير للدكتورة دعاء الطويرقيDr. Duaa Altuwairki على إتاحة هذه الفرصة القيمة لنا للمشاركة في هذا المشروع، وعلى دعمها وتشجيعها طوال مراحل العمل. أترككم مع مجموعة من اللقطات التي تستعرض عناصر الهوية البصرية وتطبيقاتها المختلفة. I was delighted to contribute to the visual identity design of "Taste of Cities: Jeddah & Taif – From Heritage to Innovation." This event was initiated by the Research Laboratories and Centers Unit to showcase the department’s laboratories, expand strategic partnerships, strengthen community engagement, and support the nomination of Jeddah and Taif as Global Gastronomy Cities. The event also welcomed the IGCAT committee, the international organization responsible for evaluating and accrediting Gastronomy Cities worldwide. IGCAT views food not only as a culinary experience, but also as a reflection of culture, identity, education, and sustainability. The event was held with the support of the Culinary Arts Commission, the national entity dedicated to preserving and promoting Saudi culinary heritage while connecting it with culture and tourism. I had the pleasure of collaborating with my colleague Albatool Alkaff on designing the event’s visual identity. Together, we developed a comprehensive visual system, including the color palette, typography, patterns, and various applications, aiming to capture the spirit of both cities and express the connection between heritage and innovation through a cohesive visual experience.
